Week 16. The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadets made the rounds in the Davao Region interacting with the local residents, visiting major universities and colleges for possible recruits, displaying the snappy marches in an un-command drill and winning the hearts of many spectators. Technically, a strategic move by the Baguio based Academy to acquaint the future leaders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to the people especially to Mindanao where probably most of the them upon graduation will be deployed. And of course to lure more bright and talented potential recruits to the academy to which for years are also coming from Mindanao. And oh, the dance moves are not that great. in fact, its lousy and uncoordinated but the hell with synchronicity. The Dance portion at the silent drill solicited loud cheers and howl from the audience signifying a clear sounding victory for the cadets' mission here.
